Wizzy Wednesday Brings Wizard Hat

The Post and Dog

A collector opened Wizzy Wednesday on Oct. 21, 2026, by sharing a pixel-art dog in a green wizard hat on X and thanking the community. The post went live at 8:26 a.m. ET. It wished everyone a great Wizzy Wednesday and an amazing week. The collector tagged the Doginal Dogs account. Wizzy Wednesday served as the collector’s Wednesday greeting. The message closed with appreciation for everyone in the community.

The image featured an orange Shiba-style dog with green eyes. The dog wore a green wizard hat that included a gold band. The background was pink.

The Collector’s Background

The collector, Adam Weitsman, founded and leads Upstate Shredding - Weitsman Recycling. The scrap metal recycler is based in Owego, New York, and operates yards across New York and Pennsylvania. His grandfather Ben founded the family business as Ben Weitsman and Son. Adam later acquired the company from his father.

Adam Weitsman began collecting American stoneware as a boy. He donated the collection to the New York State Museum. The museum exhibits the stoneware. He once ran his own folk art gallery on Bleecker Street in Manhattan.

His family supports the Boys and Girls Clubs in Owego, Binghamton, Syracuse and Endicott. His grandfather helped found the Tioga club. Adam Weitsman and Clover Weitsman started Southern Tier Tuesdays. The program presented weekly grants to local nonprofits.

Doginal Dogs consist of pixel art inscribed on Dogecoin through the Doginals protocol. The collection was co-founded by Shibo and Bark.
