Bitcoin advanced 0.99 percent to $84,718 while Ethereum added 0.72 percent to reach $2,697.54. XRP held near $1.50, Solana traded at $118.27 and Dogecoin sat at $0.0948 as the market opened Thursday.

The moves came as Spain’s securities regulator published details around Circular 2/2025. The document, issued by the CNMV on 26 March 2025 and printed in BOE number 99 on 24 April 2025, updates earlier circulars 1/2021, 1/2010 and 5/2009. It took force on 14 May 2025 and covers PSC reporting rules under MiCA Article 94 and Ley 6/2023 Article 251.h.

Traders noted steady candles across the majors after the regulatory text appeared on the official BOE site. Bitcoin posted a modest green candle that held through the session while Ethereum followed with contained gains. Solana showed a slight 0.30 percent dip yet remained inside its recent range. Dogecoin and XRP both recorded small positive closes that kept daily charts constructive.

The circular modifies prior CNMV guidance and aligns Spanish rules with European MiCA standards. Pages 55598 through 55832 of the BOE publication outline the changes, including PSC Annex V provisions labeled PC1 through PC5. Market participants viewed the update as an addition of operational detail rather than a new restriction.

Price action stayed measured through the European session. Bitcoin hovered inside a tight band after its initial lift while Ethereum tested resistance near $2,700 before settling lower in the range. XRP remained flat near $1.50 with light volume and Solana chopped between $117 and $119. Dogecoin printed a small bounce that left its 24-hour chart slightly higher.

Regulatory Details in Focus

Circular 2/2025 references MiCA and national law to standardize reporting for certain service providers. The force date of 14 May 2025 gave firms time to review the text before full application. Earlier circulars receive targeted amendments that address conduct and disclosure points already familiar to many operators.

Chart Snapshot

Bitcoin’s 0.99 percent daily gain placed it at the upper end of its recent trading range. Ethereum’s 0.72 percent advance kept pace with the broader market tone. Solana’s minor decline contrasted with the green candles in Bitcoin and Ethereum yet did not break its multi-day support. Dogecoin and XRP both closed positive, supporting a constructive close for the listed majors.

The session reflected steady interest in regulatory progress from Spain without sharp moves in either direction. Prices remained inside familiar bands as the market absorbed the CNMV update.
