Bitcoin trades in dollars, so euro and sterling holders carry a currency bet too. HANetf’s Arrow Bitcoin hedged ETCs aim to strip that out, with HSBC running the hedge. NFA.

Product Launch Details

HANetf launched the Arrow Bitcoin EUR Hedged ETC and Arrow Bitcoin GBP Hedged ETC in a release dated September 30, 2026. The euro version trades under ISIN XS3438606090. The sterling version carries ISIN XS3438605282. Physical replication supports both products. They are domiciled in Jersey.

Exchange Listings

The euro product began trading on Euronext Paris on September 29, 2026. It also started trading on Xetra on September 30, 2026. Deutsche Boerse lists the same product under WKN A4AXLF. The sterling product trades on the London Stock Exchange. These listings give European and UK investors direct access in local currencies.

Hedging Structure

HSBC provides the currency hedging for both ETCs. This setup addresses the fact that bitcoin trades globally in US dollars. Euro and sterling investors therefore avoid taking an additional view on the dollar. HANetf already offers similar euro, Swiss franc and sterling hedged versions of its Royal Mint gold ETC. The same approach now extends to bitcoin.

Investor Focus

HANetf states the products serve European and UK investors who want bitcoin exposure in their local currency. Investment decisions should rest on the prospectus and the relevant final terms. The structure uses established exchange traded commodity mechanics already familiar to institutional and retail participants on these venues.

Ownership and Utility Lens

Ownership of the ETCs gives holders a claim on bitcoin holdings held in physical form. Utility comes from the ability to trade the position on established European exchanges without separate currency conversion steps. The hedging layer removes one layer of foreign exchange movement that would otherwise affect returns for non dollar investors. This matches the operational needs of portfolios that track bitcoin while remaining denominated in euros or sterling.

Market Context

The September 25, 2026 inception date preceded the first trading sessions by several days. Euronext Paris and Xetra provide the primary venues for the euro version. The London Stock Exchange handles the sterling version. These locations align with the investor base HANetf targets. The overall design keeps the focus on bitcoin price movement while neutralizing the dollar component through daily hedging adjustments managed by HSBC.

The approach mirrors established practice in other commodity ETCs. It therefore fits within existing workflows used by European investors who already hold similar gold products from the same issuer.
